Pasturo
is a few kilometers far from Lecco and it is in Valsassina.
The only public transportation that reach Pasturo
is one line of bus that leave from the railway
station of Lecco. The
best way to reach Pasturo is by car. To reach directly Ballabio from the Milan-Lecco motorway,(exit
Valsassina) turning right after the round about and
after few
km you will find Pasturo on the left side.

1. Milano
The Milan route should be considered by those who
come from southern Lombardy (Milan, Lodi, Pavia and
so on), Piemonte, Valle d’Aosta, Liguria, Emilia
Romagna and from all the other southern regions. Once
you are on the motorway North of Milan you should
get the exit “Sesto San Giovanni Viale Zara”
and take the Lecco-Sondrio direction until the exit
with the indication “Valsassina” to continue
to Ballabio, keeping the right at the exit of the
last gallery. After few kilometers you will find the
indication to reach Pasturo.
2. Bergamo
The Bergamo route should be considered by those who
arrive from eastern Lombardy (Brescia, Bergamo, Cremona,
Mantova), Veneto, Trentino Alto Adige and Friuli.
Stay on the A4 motorway going to Milan. Once you get
at the Bergamo exit, continue on the Lecco direction
for approximately 25/30 km. Once you get to Lecco
you should follow the indications for the “Valsassina”.
Close to the Manzoni Hospital go on for the Valsassina
and stay on the way with some galleries until you
reach Ballabio. At the exit of the last gallery, keep
the right. After few kilometers you will find the
indication to reach Pasturo.
3. Como
Cars arriving from Como and Varese, or from Switzerland
can reach Pasturo quite easily. Arriving from the
main road, you will have to follow the motorway to
Lecco-Sondrio. Get the exit “Valsassina”,
then continue until Ballabio, and after that until
Pasturo.
4. Sondrio
People arriving from Sondrio or Switzerland (passing
through the "Pass of Spluga") have two possibilities.
The first one is to exit from the motorway at the
“Bellano” indication, going to Valsassina
direction. Keep this route until you find Pasturo
on the right. The second possibility is to complete
the motorway until Lecco, take the Valsassina exit
and go till Ballabio At the exit of the last
gallery, turn to the right. After few kilometers you
will find the indication to reach Pasturo.
· BY TRAIN
Pasturo can’t be reached by train. For people
arriving by train it is necessary to reach Lecco,
where, just outside the railway station, they can
take the bus for the Valsassina. For more information

FLIGHT
The closer international airports are those of Milan
(Linate and Malpensa) and Bergamo (Orio al Serio).
From Orio al Serio you should reach the railway station
of Bergamo by the bus shuttle that every 30 minutes
leaves the airport. Once there, take the train to
Lecco (for Carnate), where on the square outside the station leaves
the BUS for Pasturo. (you can see above the link to
the timetable).
From Malpensa, the better solution is the Malpensa
Express that connects the airport with Piazza
Cadorna Station in Milan. You should take the Underground
to reach the Stazione Centrale railway station and
once there you should take the train to Lecco. The
Malpensa Express leaves the airport every 30'. From
Lecco station you should reach PASTURO by bus.
From Linate we suggest catching the bus to Stazione Centrale(Milano) using the service BUS “Starfly”, with
departure every 30'. The tickets are buyable on the
Bus. From the Stazione Centrale you should take the
train to Lecco. Once at Lecco station you should
reach PASTURO by bus.
PARKING IN PASTURO
The Pasturo Administration has released for Saturday
19th and Sunday 20 st. a traffic plan studied for
the event. Most of the Pasturo streets will be limited
to cars and available for human circulation and emergency
vehicles only. Therefore also the parking located
in the central part of city won’t be available.
Athletes and public should leave their own cars in
the Comunità Montana parking area, located
just before entering in Pasturo, along the main road.
On Sunday a bus shuttle will provide free transportation
from the main parking to the departure zone/and vice
versa. The service bus will be available
with regular service from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
